Frequently Asked Questions

01.

WHAT TYPE OF PHOTOS DO YOU TAKE?

I take a mix of candid/natural and posed shots. Generally, I like to capture real, authentic moments but it’s always lovely to capture posed family photos and a few of you both as a couple. I promise it won’t be awkward and you’ll treasure the photos for years and years to come!

02.

SHOULD I BOOK A SECOND SHOOTER?

My packages are based on only me photographing your wedding which works really well and I have no problem capturing all the key moments and fun. However, having a second shooter join me on the day has benefits, for example whilst I’m photographing the bridal preparations, a second shooter could be photographing all the fun the groom is having with his groomsmen. They could also capture your special day from different angles such as the exchange of vows or capture your friends and family’s reactions.

03.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

The group shots will be photographed inside if the weather isn’t kind to us. I’d also recommend you pack wellington boots, an umbrella, and something that will keep you warm as I’d love to take your couple shots outside if possible, you can’t beat natural light! Don’t worry, we can create some magic whatever the weather!

04.

CHURCHES AND REGISTRY OFFICES

Sometimes churches and registry offices are limited by rules imposed by registrars and ministers as to what can and cannot be done. For example, some ministers insist that no flash photography is allowed, and others will insist that I shoot from a specific location or not at all. For the best results, I like to stand between the couple and the minister. I would recommend that you make yourself aware of the rules of the venue concerned beforehand and if necessary negotiate with the personnel concerned.

05.

CAN WE REQUEST A LIST OF SHOTS WE WOULD LIKE?

Yes, I can do my best to capture everything you request but nothing is guaranteed. I generally take requests for group shots and for any couple photographs you would like and then take natural shots of you both and your guests having the best time!

06.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO EDIT THE PHOTOGRAPHS?

I always try to get you your images as soon as possible however in busier times it can take up to 4-6 weeks.

07.

HOW MANY PHOTOS DO I GET?

Depending on how many hours of coverage you choose depends on how many edited photos you will get. Generally somewhere between 20-300 for portrait photoshoots and 200-1000+ for weddings (depending on the type of coverage).
