WHAT TYPE OF PHOTOS DO YOU TAKE?

I take a mix of candid/natural and posed shots. Generally, I like to capture real, authentic moments of you to showcase your personality to your customers and potential clients. Having real images of you and your products and services builds trust and your customer base.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

If there is a major weather event such as a storm or heavy rain and we are meant to be taking photographs outside we can reschedule. Generally, we can work around the weather and start by taking photos indoors and move outside when the weather brightens up! It really is dependent on each shoot.

CAN I REQUEST A LIST OF SHOTS I WOULD LIKE?

Yes, I can do my best to capture everything you request but nothing is guaranteed. Once we have had our Pre-Photoshoot consultation we can discuss types of shots you would like. Then once you have had your photoshoot I will send over a contact sheet of images and you can pick which ones you would like.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO EDIT THE PHOTOGRAPHS?

I always try to get you your images as soon as possible however in busier times it can take up to 4-6 weeks.

HOW MANY PHOTOS DO I GET?

Depending on how many hours of coverage you choose depends on how many edited photos you will get. Generally somewhere between 20-300 for portrait and Branding Photoshoots depending on the photo package.

WILL I HAVE THE RIGHTS TO THE IMAGES?

The original copyright remains with Jodie Thackray Photography. You own the right to use the images for your own website, social media and marketing. Please ask for permission via email if a publication such as magazines, or newspapers asks for the images this also includes TV, Film and PR.

ARE YOU INSURED?

Yes, I’m fully covered with public liability insurance of up to 5 million pounds.

ARE YOU DBS CHECKED?

Yes, I have a clear Police Check which is valid from January 2025.

DO YOU DO WEDDINGS?

Yes, I do sometimes photograph weddings. I generally offer this to people who are looking for coverage for micro-weddings and I do shoot a few full-day weddings but generally my main focus is Personal Brand Photography and Portraits.
