Charlotte, founder of ‘Creative Wilderness’ – an ethical, nature-inspired branding and design studio based in Manchester, UK. As an admirer of her design work, I was really excited to showcase her and her brand through photography.

On the day of the photoshoot, we set out in her super cool bright orange VW (absolute dream photoshoot) to take some photographs in Delamere forest. Charlotte was a little nervous having her photo taken so I made sure to pick spots that ensured she would feel at ease whilst also in keeping with the brief and style of her brand.

It’s all about the details

I know that every business is unique which is why every Business Brand Photoshoot with every one of my clients is different and personalised to their requirements.

I had already done a recce before the photo shoot so we walked the route I had planned and stopped for photos along the way. I like to plan shots for photoshoots, as it ensures my clients get the most out of their photoshoots but I always leave room for some spontaneity and creativity too!

I photographed a mix of portraits, close-ups of nature and of the props that Charlotte had brought with her so we had lots to work with to capture images that showcased her brand/business.

We also captured images of Charlotte enjoying some of her favourite hobbies which also inspire her design work, including wild swimming, hiking and enjoying spending time in her VW camper.

After a wonderful day out in nature, Charlotte now has lots of lovely imagery to use on her website, Social channels and in-house marketing.
